Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
* Develop, implement, and enhance quality processes and procedures.
* Manage and address customer concerns, ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements.
* Respond to quality events on the shop floor and manage corrective actions.
* Ensure the facility’s readiness for customer and industry assessments and maintain industry certifications such as AS9100.
* Collaborate with various departments to improve internal and delivered quality performance.
* Participate in professional development courses to enable career development.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
* Experience: Proven experience in managing quality or continuous improvement in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
* Leadership: Demonstrated success as a team leader and motivator.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of quality tools, including APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Certifications: Knowledge of AS9100 & AS13100 is strongly preferred.
