Head of People – Part-Time | Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
Flexible Working | 20-22 Hours Per Week | Up to £60k Pro-Rata
Are you an experienced HR leader looking for a flexible, hands on yet strategic role in a growing business? Our IT services client in Milton Keynes is looking for a passionate Head of People to take ownership of their People & HR function.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help guide company culture, support a dynamic leadership team, and drive HR initiatives that will fuel business growth. You'll balance day-to-day HR operations with a strategic focus to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall workplace experience.
What you’ll be doing:
* Partnering with senior leadership on all things People & HR
* Driving engagement through employee opinion surveys & feedback initiatives
* Creating compelling job descriptions to attract top talent
* Talent Acquisition - Lead hands-on recruitment as required and develop onboarding/offboarding processes to optimise employee experience
* Managing performance & employee relations cases
* Owning and developing HR policies & documentation
* Ensuring accurate HR system records & compliance
* Overseeing onboarding & exit processes
* Championing EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) initiatives
* Regularly review employee programmes, staff benefits and packages to ensure competitiveness in the market
* Ensure the company’s values are promoted to strengthen organisational culture
* Promote eNPS score throughout the organisation
* Support mental health & wellbeing initiatives
