We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join the team delivering the MOD project in Tewkesbury. This is a long-term scheme involving the construction of large commercial storage units, valued between £7–9 million, with significant civils elements as part of the programme. The project has several years to run, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager seeking stability and involvement in a landmark development. The Company (Overview): This role is with one of the UK’s leading construction and infrastructure organisations, delivering major projects across commercial, defence, education, healthcare, and civil engineering. With a strong reputation for innovation, sustainability, and safety, they are known for managing large-scale, complex builds from inception through to completion. Role Responsibilities: * Take ownership of a section of the project, reporting to the senior project team. * Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site. * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times. * Manage daily site activities to programme and budget. * Work closely with design, engineering, and commercial teams. * Maintain progress reporting and liaise with the client. Requirements: * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification (essential). * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large commercial or civils-led projects. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate works independently. * Must be eligible to undergo MOD security clearance.
