About the Project The organisation is undergoing a major transition in its SAP landscape, aiming to modernise and future-proof supply chain operations. While S/4HANA implementation has not yet been signed off, it is on the horizon. This role will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for that transition, ensuring existing SAP systems (primarily MM and IM) are optimised and well integrated with logistics partners via EWM. This is a strategically important role due to an ageing internal team and the need to bring in fresh expertise and stability ahead of upcoming retirements. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining business continuity and shaping future process standards across procurement and supply chain. Key Responsibilities Deliver and enhance SAP solutions across Procurement, Materials Management (MM/IM), and Supply Chain areas. Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP configurations and improvements. Educate and upskill internal teams on procurement processes and SAP capabilities. Support and maintain integrations with EWM and third-party logistics systems. Contribute to the future S/4HANA transformation, ensuring readiness and process alignment. Ensure documentation, testing, and alignment with internal IT governance standards. Required Experience Proven background as a SAP MM Business Partner or Consultant with hands-on configuration experience (~10% of the role). Experience working with or integrating SAP EWM or third-party logistics systems. Comfortable engaging stakeholders and delivering in a hybrid business/technical capacity. Familiarity with SAP WM, PP, or broader Supply Chain modules is a plus. Ideally looking for someone mid-career, with long-term potential (due to upcoming retirements in the team).
