Operations / Site Manager
I am partnered exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company that are growing key leadership and management positions across UK sites.
This is a critical hire to oversee all onsite operations within a fully aseptic facility testing and manufacturing advanced pharmaceutical products. Falling under the scope of this role will be production, quality control and engineering. Whilst the site remains relatively small, this does include both direct and indirect reports.
The core objective of this hire is to bring a strong leadership focus to the site. With a drive towards retention strategy, growth plans and current technical challenges to optimise delivery, this individual will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the site.
Whilst this could well suite an existing operations or site manager, it could also be an opportunity for someone to step up from a departmental managerial position (e.g. production or QC).

Key experience:
* Operational leadership experience of a GMP facility is essential – it may not be a whole facility but instead a specific department/unit
* Direct management experience is crucial
* Experienced in validation activities – grounded in basic engineering principles is very helpful
* Strong experience of sterile or aseptic environments is important
* Knowledge or understanding or radiopharmacy is beneficial but not essential
* Good basis of understanding of production and QC activities from a hands on perspective is important
