An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group, our Newhouse Day nursery is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our setting as a nursery cook (covering maternity leave), providing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals daily.
Please note the hours for this role are 8am- 4pm (Monday to Friday).

Key responsibilities
* Managing a small kitchen
* Cooking and preparing all meals from scratch.
* Managing all areas of the kitchen.
* Monitoring stock and wastage
* Complying with hygiene regulations at all times
Requirements
* The successful candidate must have previous experience within a working kitchen environment
* Demonstrable experience as a skilled Cook ideally in a School or Nursery setting
* hold a Food Hygiene certificate as a minimum
* Excellent culinary skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong teamwork skills are essential
* Working on your own initiatives
