Role Description:

Generic Skills:

1. 5-6 years of experience in the data space, with a focus on financial institutions or similar regulated environments
2. Proficiency in risk data, financial risk, regulatory reporting, risk reporting, and finance reporting
3. Leadership experience, including leading technology teams and initiatives
4. Expertise in distributed databases and computing environments
5. Familiarity with TOGAF methodology for architecture development
6. Hands-on experience with big data processing technologies, including Spark (PySpark and SparkScala)
7. Experience with data management platforms, ideally Ab Initio
8. Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse
9. Understanding of APIs and their integration with data systems
10. Experience working across multiple teams and on a variety of projects simultaneously

Desirable Skills and Experience

11. TOGAF Practitioner certification
12. ITIL certification
13. Proficiency in Dremio virtualization platform
14. Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
15. Proficiency in analytics platforms like SaaS and Python
16. Experience with Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS
17. Offering technical architectural expertise, guidance, and assistance in executing the strategy across data projects within programs and initiatives
18. Designing architecture and solutions to meet the business's 2025 plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
