Data architect job description

A Data Architect is a specialist in designing, creating, deploying, and managing a company's data architecture. This role involves defining how data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems. The Data Architect also ensures that all data systems align with business goals and strategic growth objectives. Key skills include proficiency in SQL, knowledge of database structure systems, and understanding of data modelling tools. The ability to visualise complex systems and articulate these effectively to a variety of stakeholders is also essential.
