Job Title: Site Manager – High-End
Location: Hereford, HR1 Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, high-end developments in the Hereford area. This role requires a strong background in premium housebuilding, with a focus on delivering exceptional finishes, tight programme control, and uncompromising standards of quality and health & safety.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring build programmes are achieved, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundwork through to final handover
* Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
* Drive the build programme, identifying and resolving delays proactively
* Ensure all works meet high-end residential quality standards and specifications
* Conduct regular site inspections and enforce strict health & safety compliance
* Coordinate materials, logistics, and site resources efficiently
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and client representatives
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
* Manage snagging, inspections, and final handover processes
* Promote a positive, productive, and safe site culture
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end housebuilding
* Strong understanding of traditional and modern construction methods
* Track record of delivering luxury or bespoke residential projects
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
* Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control
* Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes
* Strong communication and reporting skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
* Experience working on luxury housing developments or bespoke residential builds
* Familiarity with timber frame, traditional masonry, or mixed-method construction
* Experience managing sites from foundation to completion in live environments
