Position Purpose:
The Inside Sales Executive represents the company's sales interests and is responsible for positively promoting the organization to its customers and prospects at a national level. The role involves initiating contact with potential customers and liaising with Sales Executives to book appointments for presenting Shred-it document destruction services.
Key Job Activities:
* Making a high volume of outbound calls daily on behalf of the business.
* Responding to and targeting prospects through tele-sales activities.
* Creating and following up on prospect lists based on SAP, direct mail campaigns, online, and other marketing leads.
* Completing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
* Meeting or exceeding productivity and activity targets set out in the annual Performance Agreement.
* Providing daily input to the UK Sales force, including opportunity identification and lead generation.
* Remaining current with external conditions such as clients, competitors, business trends, and service rates to optimize Shred-it's marketplace position.
Education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience (EMEAA):
* Background in appointment making/telemarketing.
* Ability to understand and effectively deliver the key benefits of the service, managing objections professionally.
* Experience working in a target-driven sales environment.
* Ability to adapt to different campaigns easily.
* Good rapport-building skills.
* Resourceful, adaptable, energetic, and highly motivated.
* Excellent oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
* Self-disciplined and organized.
