Catering Manager - Skelmersdale

Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Monday to Friday role, however the site operates 24/7 therefore flexibility will be required.

Are you passionate about food and ready for the next step in your career or are you looking for a better work-life balance? We're looking for a Catering Manager who thrives on delivering outstanding food and exceptional dining experiences.

Services include: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Vending and Hospitality.

At Dine,we offer a personalised approach to our clients, whilst delivering outstanding service. Our passion lies in creating great-tasting menus, promoting sustainability, and proudly working with local suppliers and communities.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Operational Management: Lead daily catering operations, ensuring high standards in food, service, and presentation.
* Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
* Client Relations: Serve as the main client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations.
* Financial Control: Manage budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
* Supplier & Stock Management: Oversee procurement and stock to optimize cost and reduce waste.
* Event Coordination: Plan and deliver internal and external catering events.
* Sustainability Initiatives: Drive environmentally responsible practices across the operation.

About You:
* Proven experience managing large-scale catering operations, ideally within a Business & Industry environment.
* Strong background in team leadership, client management, and financial accountability.
* Culinary experience is a must for this role
* Proven ability to drive innovation and sales
* Strong financial understanding, with experience in stock control and budget management
* Commercially astute with good understanding of cost control and budget management.
* Proficient in health, safety, and food hygiene standards (Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.
