I am currently recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy specialist, based in Banbury, who are seeking an Interim Quality Manager to join their team
Job Description
As Interim Quality Manager, your main responsibilities are:
* Lead and develop a small team of Quality Engineers, through the full product development lifecycle.
* Manage and execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes ensuring timely delivery.
* Act as the central Point of Contact (PoC) for all quality activities within the development programme.
* Collaborate cross-functionally, to ensure quality requirements are embedded and met.
* Drive design for quality principles into the product development process, to mitigate risk.
* Support DFMEA and PFMEA activities, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Bachelors' Degree, in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience in a quality leadership role, within a product development environment.
* Strong knowledge and application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
* Experience delivering products, from concept to SOP and beyond.
* Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, without direct authority.
