Qualifications
There are a number of ways you can become a Site Manager, as a minimum you will need 4 or more GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and a minimum of 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent.
Level 3
You can study a BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Construction Contracting Operations or Civil Engineering
Level 4, 5 & 6
You can study a HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment or other related subjects.
Salary
Assistants/trainee site managers can earn £25,000 - £35,000
Trained site managers with some experience can earn £35,000 - £45,000
Senior or chartered site managers can earn £45,000 - £50,000
Salaries and career options also improve with chartered status.
