What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions for KS4 pupils
• Supporting academic progress, motivation, and study skills
• Helping pupils manage emotional, behavioural, or social challenges
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to implement support plans
• Promoting attendance, punctuality, and engagement in learning
• Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult during a key life stage
Ideal Graduate Learning Mentor For This Bromley School:
• Graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for supporting young people
• Calm, empathetic, and able to build trusting relationships with teenagers
• Confident communicator with a proactive, student-centred mindset
• Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools, youth work) is a strong advantage
• Available full-time from September through July
• Interested in education, psychology, counselling, or youth-focused careers
