We are a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways.
The Role
We are looking for a Modernisation Sales Executive to cover North Yorkshire and surrounding areas. You will manage the sales process, generate proposals, secure contracts for modernisation projects across the region, maintain and build relationships with consultants and client decision makers, and continuously expand product knowledge and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Securing projects for lift modernisations in accordance with annual targets
* Prospecting, generating proposals and closing contracts
* Working with the sales estimating team to ensure that quotes reflect agreements reached and that the final contract is signed off by the client
* Expanding product knowledge of the Orona and competitor portfolio
* Gathering market and competitor information
* Combining product knowledge with excellent sales techniques
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience within the lift industry (preferably)
* Clean UK driving licence (essential)
* Right to work in the UK (mandatory)
* Customer focus – ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers, gaining trust and respect through meeting and exceeding expectations
* Negotiation – skilful negotiation in tough situations, winning concessions without damaging relationships
* Active listening – patience to hear people out and accurately summarise what has been said
