The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail, able to work as part of the Kirker Marketing Team alongside the Graphic Designer and Head of Marketing, and liaising with the Managing Director and other team members. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the candidate must be flexible and willing to assist with various areas of the business as needed.
Key responsibilities include assisting with marketing campaigns involving brochures, direct mail, email, digital and social media, as well as client and travel agent events such as concerts, lectures, and museum visits. The role suits someone interested in European travel, culture, and the arts, aiming to create compelling marketing appealing to curious, discerning travelers.
The position is based full-time in the Kirker office in central London, requiring daily collaboration with departments such as the Kirker Concierge, Cultural Tours & Music Holidays team, and Reservations team to support and promote key offers via B2B and B2C channels.
Marketing Executive Job Requirements
1. Assist with email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, layout, copy editing, targeting, and audience segmentation.
2. Plan, organize, and attend company events like classical music concerts, art and history lectures, and client receptions.
3. Maintain and update the client database accurately, adhering to company style and GDPR legislation.
4. Collaborate with the Agency Sales Team to ensure travel agents have access to the latest marketing materials in various formats.
5. Liaise with the hotel Contracting Team to select and develop relevant offers for promotion and sales.
6. Work with the Cultural Tours & Music Holidays team to create digital and offline micro-marketing campaigns.
7. Coordinate with the website manager and external agency to maintain and update the company website.
8. Analyze campaign statistics and prepare reports to assess marketing effectiveness.
Marketing Executive Job Skills
1. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) is desirable.
2. Ability to create and manage social media accounts, including content planning and creation for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube/Vimeo.
3. Knowledge of SEO techniques and strategies, along with an interest in copywriting for SEO.
4. Strong proofreading skills and the ability to write and edit concise, effective copy.
