We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Developer to join our growing product team. In this role, you will work across the full development lifecycle contributing to both front end and back-end development, and maintain scalable software solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences in our web and mobile platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging modern tools and frameworks to build robust, maintainable, and scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developers to implement features across web and mobile platforms.
* Develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient code using React, Node.js, React Native, or the relevant stack.
* Optimise application performance and user experience.
* Maintain and extend our existing APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
* Contribute to code reviews and maintain high-quality development standards.
* Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or Ruby (depending on Evergreen Life’s stack).
* Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and/or back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot).
* Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL) and API development (REST or GraphQL).
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks.
