Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a wide range of HR initiatives, supporting both managers and employees, and ensuring HR practices align with organisational goals.
You’ll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, training, reward, and wellbeing. You’ll also take ownership of HR systems, ensuring they are used effectively to drive efficiency and provide valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the transition from candidate to employee by overseeing a smooth onboarding and induction process.
2. Provide clear, practical HR advice and guidance to managers and staff.
3. Support the management of employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.
4. Monitor and support performance management processes to ensure expectations are met.
5. Identify training needs and coordinate engaging development programmes.
6. Administer compensation and benefits, including pensions, renewals, and policy updates.
7. Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and compliance documentation.
