Job Description
We are seeking an organised, proactive and personable person to join our HR team to manage compliance checks and onboarding for the School. This role is a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new colleagues and ensuring that all checks are carried out in accordance with statutory guidelines.
The successful candidate will ideally join us in February 2026, with a handover period ideally taking place over February Half Term. We welcome applications for full-time working but are also open to discussing flexibility around start and finish times.
You will work closely with the HR, Payroll, Data and Recruitment teams, as well as managers and prospective employees across the Schools. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative experience in HR or recruitment who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and has excellent attention to detail.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Complete all necessary pre-employment checks, including overseas checks and safeguarding training.
2. Complete all DBS applications for new employees, volunteers, exchange trips, etc.
3. Update the HRIS to ensure all new starter information is correct for data and payroll.
4. Keep new starter trackers and checklists updated at all times.
