Site Manager – Required ASAP
Grade 6, SCP 12‑17 – Salary £28,598 – £31,022
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week between 6.30am–6pm (TBC). Split shift required occasionally.
Quarry Bank Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Site Manager who takes pride in their working environment. This is a full‑time, all‑year‑round, permanent position.
The School Site Manager is responsible, through the Headteacher and Governing Body, for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the school.
Key Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in school caretaking/site management or a relevant role
* Experience supervising and managing staff
* Good knowledge of COSHH regulations
* Ability to understand and apply Health and Safety and Manual Handling regulations
* Computer literate with willingness to learn new IT skills and packages
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Friendly, approachable, flexible, resilient and hardworking
* Attention to detail
Desirable
* Recognised qualification in electrics, decorating, plumbing or carpentry (evidence required)
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
