Your new role
You will join the business as a Site Manager, responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects across multiple sites within the region.
1. Manage and coordinate all on-site activities including labour, plant, subcontractors, staff and equipment
2. Drive the construction programme proactively, identifying risks, opportunities and implementing corrective actions
3. Lead, motivate and develop site teams, monitoring performance and fostering a positive working environment
4. Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain programme, quality and safety standards
5. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, reports and site documentation
6. Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as required
7. Support the Project Manager, taking direction and stepping up to lead site operations when necessary
8. Coordinate procurement and material delivery with the buying and Surveying teams
9. Take full accountability for site performance, health & safety, quality and programme delivery
10. Ensure fullpliance with health and safety regulations and internal safety standards
11. Deliver daily coordination meetings with the supply chain on site
12. Manage Temporary Works in line with design requirements and safetypliance
13. Lead quality inspections and ensure standards are achieved and maintained across all site activities
What you'll need to succeed
14. Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor
15. Strong background in design and build projects
16. Demonstrable experience managing health & safety, quality and site performance
17. Experience managing Temporary Works
18. SMSTS
19. CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred)
