Role: Site Manager
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package & Bonuses
Our client, a main contractor, is seeking to appoint a Site Manager on a permanent basis to oversee schemes (high-rise and low-rise residential, Commercial, Educational, Logistics) throughout the Yorkshire region. Due to secured projects in the area, they need an experienced Manager to be the lead on sites.
Job Description:
1. Coordinating site & utility preparation (pre-construction)
2. Creating work schedules to ensure projects are completed before deadlines
3. Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
4. Overseeing building projects to ensure staff work safely, productively, and to a high standard
5. Monitoring construction budgets to minimise overspending
6. Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings
7. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
8. Liaising with Project Management regarding build programmes and updates
