Description of role:
Yourgene Health are recruiting for a full-time and permanent Sales Executive to cover UK & Ireland. The UKI Sales Executive is responsible for building and driving the commercial strategy in the UK and Ireland, covering both Yourgene Products and Laboratory Services, to ensure that budgeted annual sales, profit objectives, and strategic goals are delivered.
The UKI Sales Executive is responsible for overall management of Yourgene Health’s UK and Ireland sales: developing and driving sales growth programs to ensure the territory delivers on strategic initiatives and revenue targets. The role is unique in the company, covering the full Yourgene Health portfolio. This position requires a desire to find new business, penetrate new markets, and build long-term revenue streams.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Responsible for the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets, provision of detailed sales territory plans in key strategic markets and execution of these by building and maintaining long term relationships with direct customers and channel partners (where appropriate).
* Driving sales in Laboratory services (based in Manchester), coordinating services with the Laboratory Manager & the team to delivery on time, quality services to our customers across Europe.
* Coordinating & managing tenders for both Yourgene products & laboratory services.
* Defining the sales strategy in assigned territories, including the identification of key market segments.
* Contribute to the delivery of annual sales and marketing plans in the EMEA region.
* Qualify and progress sales team leads through active customer management.
* Build and maintain long term relationships with customers and channel partners (where appropriate).
* Liaise with marketing functions in order to engage and enlist partners to execute lead generation programs, pipeline stimulus programs and joint planning efforts.
* Become the reproductive genetic health and oncology subject matter expert for the assigned markets; provide key input on assigned market requirements to support development of future Yourgene Health products.
* Develop and nurture a KOL network per market.
* Attend and contribute to relevant scientific meetings to maintain awareness of new molecular biological techniques, competitor landscape and new product opportunities.
* Contribute to the maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) database.
* Comply with all Health, Safety, UK Bribery Act systems.
* Comply with all Quality Systems.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Essential:
* Biological science degree (biochemistry, biomedicine, biotechnology, genetics, molecular biology or similar).
* Genomic sales experience 2-5 years including Capex instrument sales
* Fluent in English
* Willingness to travel 50-60%
* Experience selling into labs
Beneficial:

* Technical understanding of NGS applications

* Experience selling into Pharma
* Existing network of distributors
* Existing network of public and private hospitals and diagnostic labs
