Canteen Cook Pennybridge Averaging 3.5 days per week. Includes a rotating Sunday half-day shift. Job Content / Main Duties Conduct HACCP CCP checks (e.g. temperatures of fridge, freezers and the cool cabinet / delivery dates / use by dates on supplies / temperatures of cooked food ) Complete food preparation duties as per schedule (e.g. Preparation of food stuffs for next day prior to 8.00am / restocking of cool cabinet / display and vending machines) Ensure that the menu is provided in a timely manner and that all other catering requests are catered for (e.g. Sandwiches for meetings) Order lists to be made out and given to the Canteen Lead Cook for action / Place order in absence of Canteen Lead Cook In conjunction with other team members the till is to be manned and at end of shift the proceeds totalled and float maintained. The takings are to be recorded in ledger daily.(Vending machine money collected and added on a weekly basis) Complete team Time sheets on a weekly basis and give to Technical & NPD Manager / Production Planner weekly Maintain a Clean As You Go process and participate and lead in maintaining high levels of hygiene throughout the canteen Work as part of a team to achieve canteen objectives of clean, hygienic and good quality product served in an efficient manner Participate in improvement recommendations and implementation and represent the Dale Farm organisation in a professional way to all staff, contractors and teams This position provides flexibility to work various days per week (Monday Friday) and 6am 12pm on a (Sunday) on a rota basis, with the option to work additional days to provide holiday cover for Lead Cook and Canteen Assistant.
