Learning Mentor – Newcastle
Salary: £100–£120 per day

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a vibrant secondary school in Newcastle. You’ll work closely with pupils who need a little extra guidance—whether it’s building confidence, improving focus, or navigating personal challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring
* Supporting behaviour, attendance, and engagement
* Working with teachers, pastoral leads, and parents to create supportive plans
* Being a calm, consistent presence in the lives of pupils who really need it
You’ll be great if you have:
* Experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, or similar)
* A calm, empathetic approach
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* A genuine belief in second chances and positive change
Ideal for grads in: Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Education, Youth Work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
