*Duties*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
* Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
* Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team.
