Monday – Thursday 10:30am-6pm, Friday 10:30am-5:30pm. Split shift may be possible/required occasionally.
Role Summary
Quarry Bank Primary School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Site Manager who takes pride in their working environment. This is a full‑time, all year round, permanent position. The Site Manager reports to the Headteacher and Governing Body and is responsible for a wide range of duties connected with the fabric and grounds of the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage maintenance staff
* Ensure compliance with COSHH, Health and Safety and Manual Handling regulations
* Plan and coordinate maintenance, cleaning and repair work
* Maintain accurate records and budgets
* Collaborate with school staff to support facility needs
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in school caretaking/site management or a relevant role
* Experience supervising/managing staff
* Good knowledge of COSHH regulations
* Ability to understand and apply health and safety regulations and manual handling
* Computer literate with willingness to learn new IT skills and packages
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Friendly, approachable, flexible, resilient and hard working
* Attention to detail
Additional Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in electrics, decorating, plumbing or carpentry (desirable, evidence required)
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
