Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitness Instructor at Places Leisure, part of Places for People Group. You will work in a fun, lively environment and inspire others to work together, delivering their best. You should be enthusiastic, with experience in the fitness industry, and able to provide suitable health and fitness advice tailored to customers’ goals.
Responsibilities
* Put customers' needs at the forefront and build personable, meaningful relationships.
* Maintain ongoing personal development and stay informed about industry trends.
* Carry out initial inductions and ensure safe, correct use of equipment.
* Work with customers of all abilities, set and monitor programmes as appropriate.
* Offer Personal Training sessions and support small group sessions; look to develop new PT clients from face-to-face interactions and basic marketing tools.
* Collaborate with the team to keep facilities clean and safe, adhering to regulations and company procedures.
About You / Qualifications
Hold a CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2 qualification (minimum). It would be ideal to hold CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3. We offer ongoing training and development and support to achieve the Level 3 qualification.
You may also develop your career towards roles such as Fitness Manager through continued learning and experience. The role includes support with CIMSPA Practitioner / Reps Level 3 and improving customer service skills.
