Overview
Evergreen School is a special school with two purpose-built campuses in Warwick. We have over 280 children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. This is an exciting time to join our school as we continue to develop and expand, with a new curriculum and facilities including a swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sensory studios, Café and soft-play rooms. Evergreen is part of the Warwick Schools Foundation Multi Academy Trust. The Trust and Foundation share values and ethos with a focus on enabling pupils to work together. Position
Permanent, term-time plus INSET days (39 weeks). Hours and salary differ by campus and contract type:
* Full-time at Brittain Lane campus: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate £16.07 - £17.46. Actual salary (SCP H14) £23,437 - (SCP H17) £25,460.
* Part-time at Deansway campus: 25.33 hours per week, 4 days per week including Monday and Friday. Actual salary (SCP H14) £18,267 - (SCP H17) £19,843.
Working hours: Monday/Wednesday 9:00–16:35, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:00–15:35 (with a 30-minute unpaid break per day).
Closing Date: Sunday 15 March 2026. Interview Date: Friday 20 March 2026. Required ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Supervise safe arrival and departure of all pupils at allocated school sites.
* Meet and greet children, young people and families, acting as a point of contact for families.
* Compile chronologies and keep intervention trackers up to date.
* Deliver small group or 1-1 therapeutic provision (e.g. Lego therapy, girls/boys groups, emotional wellbeing sessions, story massage, etc.).
* Create social scripts and visual supports such as Communicate In Print (CIP) timetables.
* Support pupils with defensive or risk behaviours both at home and at school.
* Support pupils and families to achieve high attendance; complete home visits and safe and well checks.
* Run daily lunchtime clubs according to pupil interests.
* Support the Pastoral Manager to deliver identified early help; be willing to train as a TEAM TEACH trainer.
* Support pupils with developing progress with personal care at school and at home.
* Support Pastoral Manager in delivering/facilitating parent workshops and with transitional needs.
* Attend CIN and Early Support meetings; work with external professionals (e.g. play therapists, CAMHS).
