Join Countryview, Quarriers’ specialist short breaks (respite) service, where we support children and young people aged 5–20 with a wide range of additional needs. As a Relief Intensive Support Practitioner, you’ll be part of a dedicated, compassionate team providing tailored support — and creating joyful, meaningful experiences every day.
About Countryview
Our service offers short breaks for children and young people with:
* Complex medical needs
* Physical and learning disabilities
* Autism and neurodiverse conditions
* Trauma-related and emotional needs

What You’ll Do
* Create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for every child
* Support with personal care, therapeutic routines, and daily activities (full training provided)
* Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Engage children in play, sensory exploration, outings, and skill-building opportunities
* Offer consistent and compassionate support, especially during times of distress
* Your presence gives families vital time to rest and recharge, knowing their child is in safe and capable hands.
What You’ll Bring

* Confident supporting children with a variety of complex needs
* Experience in care is helpful, but it’s your values, attitude, and willingness to learn that matter most. Whether you have personal experience, voluntary work, or transferable skills from another sector — if you're passionate about supporting young people, we want to hear from you.
