Proactive Sales Executive - JP Corry

We are currently recruiting for the Proactive Sales Executive role. The position reports to the Branch Manager and is key to driving proactive sales from the Castlereagh branch. The role will assist and liaise with the trade counter, yard operations, the sales representative and the driver for the branch.

Role Responsibilities Will Include
* Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customers
* Support the external sales team with customer requests (e.g., technical information, updated quotes, or required product certification)
* Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and notify customers
* Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service
* Provide excellent customer service by processing and authorising a variety of customer transactions (face to face, telephone, online)
* Identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of JP Corry products
* Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts
* Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary, passing to the Branch Manager for sign off
* Oversee daily delivery schedule/ despatch
* Any other duties deemed reasonable

Suitable Candidates Will Ideally Have/ Be
* A proven track record of sales / business development with good product knowledge and understanding of routes to market
* Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Natural passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience; able to work under pressure
* Ability to manage and prioritise own diary and workload
* Flexible and adaptable to meet changing requests and demands
* Good problem-solving ability
* Prior experience of using a CRM system
