Your role involves collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards, providing extensive capacity at minimal cost, and fostering an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and ownership.
This role is for a Contract Negotiator responsible for managing Amazon’s relationships with IP service providers in EMEA to meet scaling and demand goals. You will plan and source IP interconnect and peering capacity, respond to peering requests, negotiate connections, and coordinate with network operations to ensure timely upgrades. A passion for cloud computing, strong technical and business judgment, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key responsibilities
1. Serve as a subject matter expert on “eyeball” IP networks within your region.
2. Organize, track, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver new IP interconnect capacity.
3. Develop interconnect capacity plans for scalable content delivery.
4. Establish peering with partner networks globally and ensure timely upgrades.
5. Negotiate improved interconnection relationships with external providers.
6. Collaborate with business development, legal, and deployment teams to implement strategic plans.
7. Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and meetings.

Basic qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
* 5+ years of professional or military experience.
* Experience influencing leadership decisions and managing cross-functional programs.
Preferred qualifications
* Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
* Experience negotiating complex legal agreements.
