Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet our high standards.
* Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.
* Provide support in serving meals, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Previous experience in meal preparation is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
* A team player who communicates well with others and contributes positively to the work environment.
