Description Grade UE05: £29,588 to £33,951 per annum pro rata CAHSS / Edinburgh Business School Part-time: 21 hours per week Fixed-term: 12 months The University of Edinburgh Business School (UEBS) is looking to appoint an experienced HR Administrator. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding HR service to all Business School colleagues through a wide range of specialist HR Administrative tasks, in addition to contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, practices and procedures in the school. The Opportunity: We are looking for someone who is well organised with a proven ability to plan and prioritise work, both independently and as part of the team. The successful applicant will have good IT skills, strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work. This post is part-time (21 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The salary for this post is £29,588 - £33,951 per annum pro rata. Your skills and attributes for success: Knowledge of HR and recruitment procedures, equality and diversity legislation and other relevant legislation. Ability to plan, prioritise, take initiative and find proactive solutions, contribute new ideas to projects, work unsupervised, under pressure and multitask effectively. Attention to detail is particularly important, given the sensitive nature of this role. Ability to build comprehensive knowledge of rapidly changing area of work, including relevant policies and procedures and able to identify and refine work practices and procedures in own area.
