Sales Executive - Mechanical & Electrical Supply Sector Location: Wednesbury Salary: Up to £34,000 basic £6,000 performance bonus (paid quarterly) Total Package: £40,000 OTE An established and growing supplier in the mechanical and electrical industry is looking to recruit a Sales Executive with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach to selling. This role goes beyond processing orders - we're seeking someone who can identify opportunities, add value for customers, and drive revenue through effective upselling and cross-selling. Key Responsibilities: Make proactive outbound calls to customers across a designated UK territory. Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell - not just process orders. Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Consistently achieve revenue targets and daily call KPIs. Conduct market research and stay aware of industry trends. Provide support to the internal sales team with occasional inbound enquiries and administrative tasks. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within B2B or product-based sectors. A proactive, consultative sales approach - with a clear focus on identifying customer needs and offering tailored solutions. Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner. Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain strong customer relationships. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commercially aware. What's on Offer: Competitive salary of up to £34,000 per annum.
