Description du poste et Missions
Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources OF Hozelock Group, you will be responsible for the efficient and strategic management of all human resources functions within the company. You will work closely with management to develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with organizational objectives. You will also lead recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Duties will involve:
1. Provide Human Resources input to the weekly operations team
2. Provide Human Resources support to subsidiaries and representative office in Malaysia
3. Advise coach and support the CEO, UK Board and executive team in people management areas including absence control, grievance and discipline, performance feedback and employment law related matters.
4. Manage the annual contract negotiations
5. Manage projects as required by the Executive
6. Job Grading and benchmarking data as and when required.
7. Ensure current and on-going legal compliance in all areas of employment practice
8. Update and maintain company policies to reflect employment legislation
9. Ensure cost-effective ways and control of the Human Resources budget
10. Manage the annual appraisal process and ensure all staff have training and development plans
11. Deliver the annual staff pay review, including succession planning
12. Deliver the pay agreement within the collective bargaining unit
13. Chair communication committee, delivering effective employee relations
14. Ensure all pension processes are administered effectively and liaise with advisors as required
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Profil recherché
15. Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics or distribution environment is essential
16. Experience of managing direct reports
17. Experience of managing trade union relationships
18. Excellent knowledge of employment law and industry best practice
19. Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
20. Knowledge of computerised HR administration systems
21. Knowledge of Time & Attendance systems
22. Degree qualified or equivalent experience
23. CIPD qualified with HR leadership experience
24. Able to build good relations at all levels of a business (excellent interpersonal skills)
25. Capable of managing multiple tasks to strict deadlines
26. Strong influencing skills
27. Must be able to travel
