Role Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Construction Operatives / Labourers for general site worK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing construction team, assisting in a wide range of building, groundworks, and site preparation duties.
No formal qualifications are required, but previous site experience is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions on a fast-paced job site.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting tradesmen and skilled workers with manual labour
* Site preparation, clearance, and clean-up
* Loading and unloading materials and tools
* Operating basic hand tools and small plant (if qualified)
* Following all site safety procedures and reporting hazards
* Ensuring work areas are tidy and materials are organised
* Kerbing, flagging, Fencing, Concrete
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience on a construction site (preferred)
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour tasks
* Strong work ethic and punctuality
* Willingness to work in all weather conditions
* Good understanding of site safety
Desirable Criteria
* Valid CSR/CSCS card
* Manual handling or health & safety training
* Access to transport or ability to travel to site reliably
