We are looking for an experienced TP137/SR163 Site Manager to oversee substation projects across South Wales and the South West.
We have site in:
Upper Boat, Pontypridd
Cilfynydd 400kV, Pontypridd
Imperial Park, Newport
Uskmouth, Newport
Bramley, Basingstoke
Iron Acton, North Bristol
Chickerill, Weymouth
Mannington, Bournemouth
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in Civils, and experience liaising with National Grid, subcontractors, and third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead site operations, ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with industry standards.
* Serve as the primary liaison with National Grid, subcontractors and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
* Maintain all necessary site documentation, including Lifting & Access Plans, RAMs and ensure strict health & safety adherence.
* Monitor and assess subcontractor performance, conduct regular site inspections and implement best practices
* Provide detailed project updates, highlighting key milestones, challenges and resource requirements.
You will have:
* TP137/SR163 qualification (lapsed is fine as well)
* Proven site management experience in transmission projects
* NG Competent Person NSI6 & 8 Full (lapsed is fine as well)
* HSG47
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and CDM
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
