Job Description
We are supporting a leading construction business in the search for a Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery on internals packages on a major project in Edinburgh city centre. .
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative, solutions driven team, working on a prestigious project that will throw up a varied set of challenges making each day rewarding.
As Site Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in supporting site operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery or works.
Responsibilities include:
* Supervising trades and subcontractors
* Supporting the Project Manager with daily site activities
* Monitoring progress to ensure programme deadlines are met
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely, to quality standards, and in line with regulations
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety checks
* Maintaining site records and reporting progress
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a management/supervisory role within a main contracting environment. Strong knowledge of health & safety practices on-site and an ability to coordinate trades teams and subcontractors so achieve programme and quality milestones.
A CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certificate are also required.
