IBM RPG Web Developer
* Rate: 400 Inside IR35
* Arrangement: Fully Remote
* Term: 3 Months Initial + Further Extensions
We are seeking an experienced IBM RPG Developer to maintain and modernize our IBM i (AS/400) applications. You'll also work with front-end technologies to enhance user interfaces and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain RPGLE, RPG IV, and Free Format RPG applications.
* Support and optimize existing IBM i systems.
* Modernize legacy applications and integrate with web services.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
* Develop responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Required Skills:
* Proficiency in RPGLE, RPG IV, and CL programming.
* Strong knowledge of SQL and DB2 on IBM i.
* Experience with Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS or RPG Smart Pages (Must Have)
* Familiarity with integrating IBM i applications with modern web technologies.
* Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
