Catering Manager
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-Time | 5-over-7 working pattern
Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required
Are you a hospitality or catering professional ready for a new challenge in a fast-paced, multi-site environment? We're looking for a Catering Manager to support an ESS contract .
This key leadership role involves overseeing daily hospitality and catering services, deputising for the General Manager, and ensuring consistently high standards across multiple sites - from simple refreshments to formal dinners for over 200 guests.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of hospitality and catering services across the WMP contract
Manage staff and delegate feeding, conferences, and events
Support and stand in for the General Manager when required
Lead, coach, and develop a small on-site team
Manage stock, control costs, and reduce food waste
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene
Build effective relationships across internal teams and ensure customer satisfaction
Travel between sites (a full driving licence is essential)
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing teams in hospitality or catering
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Excellent customer service focus
Financially aware with strong IT skills
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
Understanding of food production and operational catering
