<div><p><b>Salary: Band D SCP 9 - 17 (£27,255 - £31,022 per annum pro rata) £21,362 - £24,419 per annum</b></p><p><b>Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week</b></p><p><b>Required to start: As soon as possible.</b></p><p><b>The Academy</b></p><p>This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be part of the team at Lightwoods Primary Academy.</p><ul><li>At LPA we are committed to an inclusive education for local students at every ability level, a rigorous grounding in academic fundamentals and equipping students for the future through teaching them relevant and cutting‑edge skills for the era in which they live.</li><li>That every student should be safe, happy ambitious of themselves and respectful of all.</li><li>To ensure the students have world class opportunities which allow them to compete with any students in the country.</li></ul><p><b>The postholder will:</b></p><ul><li>Provide management of the catering facilities within the Academy to provide students, staff and visitors with value for money meals of a high standard.</li><li>Create a new and varied menu which will enhance and the lunchtime experience of all our students.</li><li>Provide catering to support extended school activities, Academy events and meetings.</li><li>Strive for the continual improvement of the quality of food and service.</li><li>Ensure compliance with the requirements of food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety, COSH regulations and risk management.</li></ul><p>Applicants must have experience of working in a high-volume catering environment and managing staff.</p><p><b>Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its entire staff to share this commitment.
