Role Overview: We are seeking a Site Head of Technical to lead and develop the technical function at our Riverside Bakery site.
This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, integrity, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and implementing the groups technical strategy.
You will be a key technical contact for customers, retailers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the site consistently meets and exceeds audit and quality expectations.
Lead and manage the site technical team, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Use data effectively to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Extensive technical/quality leadership experience in food manufacturing, ideally in chilled products.
Proven experience managing large technical teams and developing talent.
Strong knowledge of food science, HACCP, UK and EU legislation, and retailer Codes of Practice.
Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3, TACCP/Integrity, Lead Auditor qualification.
Excellent communication, influencing, and commercial skills.
Full UK driving licence.
