A prestigious professional services organisation in Belfast is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to support the day-to-day operations of a busy reception and client-facing meeting space. This is a fixed-term position for 6 months with the potential to transition to a permanent role.
Working in a recently refurbished, high-spec environment, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors and clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience from arrival through to departure. The role includes managing a multi-line switchboard and coordinating meeting room bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet visitors and manage front-of-house interactions
* Operate a busy switchboard and handle client and internal queries
* Coordinate bookings and set up of meeting spaces
* Support virtual/hybrid meetings
* Maintain presentation and smooth operation of reception and meeting areas
* Liaise with suppliers and assist with facilities-related support
* Provide cover and flexibility across reception and meeting space functions
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
* Experience in a hospitality or professional front-of-house environment
* Strong switchboard, customer service, and presentation skills
* Comfortable using audio-visual platforms (e.g., Zoom, GoToWebinar; MS Teams training can be provided)
* A positive, proactive attitude and ability to remain composed under pressure
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 depending on experience
* 25 days annual leave plus public holidays (pro-rata)
