Site Manager – Groundworks (Freelance)\nLocation: North East England\nContract: Long-term freelance\nStart: Immediate\n\nWe are currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee a groundworks package on a long-term freelance basis in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, hands-on manager to join a busy project with an immediate start.\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Day-to-day management of groundworks operations on site\n\n * \n\n Coordinating subcontractors, plant, and materials\n\n * \n\n Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification\n\n * \n\n Managing RAMS, site inductions, and health & safety compliance\n\n * \n\n Liaising with the client, engineers, and senior management\n\n * \n\n Maintaining site records, progress reports, and quality control\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience managing groundworks/civils packages\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage programmes and drive productivity on site\n\n * \n\n Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Long-term freelance contract\n\n * \n\n Competitive day rate (DOE)\n\n * \n\n Immedi...
