A large and inclusive secondary school in West Yorkshire is seeking a professional and highly organised HR Administrator to support its people operations from January 2026. This is a trusted role within the school, supporting staff throughout the full employment lifecycle.

The school places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, clear processes and professional respect. HR is seen as a supportive, enabling function rather than a purely procedural one.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders and the business team, you will provide high-quality HR administration and ensure compliance with employment and safeguarding requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

* Recruitment administration and onboarding of new staff

* Maintaining personnel files, contracts and safeguarding checks

* Supporting absence management and staff wellbeing processes

* Preparing documentation for payroll and senior leadership

* Responding to HR queries with discretion and professionalism

* Supporting policy implementation and compliance
