A well-known public sector organisation is seeking a skilled Secretary to provideprehensive administrative and secretarial support to senior management. You will join a busy, fast‑paced environment where confidentiality, professionalism and excellent organisational skills are essential.
Your new role
In this role, you will provide a confidential and efficient secretarial service to senior leaders, includingprehensive diary management, preparing documentation, and handling sensitive information. A key part of the role involves fullmittee servicing: drafting agendas, taking accurate minutes, preparing action logs and circulating all associated paperwork.
What you'll need to succeed
1. 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths, or NVQ Level 2 Administration
2. At least 3 years’ relevant secretarial experience, including working with confidential information
3. Strong minute‑taking andmittee servicing experience
4. Proficiency in electronic diary management
5. Excellent IT skills across MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
6. Strong written and verbalmunication skills
7. Ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines and use initiative
8. High level of accuracy, discretion and professionalism
