HR Administrator
About the job: We are looking for an HR Administrator to take on a key role in overseeing the administrative aspects of our human resources department. In this position, you will be responsible for managing employee records, assisting with recruitment activities, and supporting the Head of HR with policy implementation and administrative tasks. Strong organisational abilities, keen attention to detail, and excellent administration skills are vital for success in this role.

We have installed over 5,500 systems and currently manage over 19,000 installations across the mainland UK (63MWp capacity). Our clients are primarily Portfolio Investors, Councils, and Housing Associations. What you’ll do:
* Oversee HR administrative duties, such as filing, record maintenance, and spreadsheet updates, while collaborating with the Head of HR to review and format policies. Arrange recruitment interviews, communicate with candidates, and issue feedback.
* Support with the HR infrastructure and systems, retaining, archiving and deleting information in a timely manner in line with GDPR.
* Assist the Head of HR with booking training and coordinating training events and maintaining records and files.
* Respond to initial HR related queries and escalating calls that require HR advice.
* Process DBS checks and onboarding checks, to include reference and qualification checks.
What you’ll need:
* Proven Organisational skills and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
* Excellent administration skills
* High level of confidentiality and ability to be discrete in sensitive situations
* Experience using databases and systems
· Interest and understanding of HR
* Knowledge of human resources and employment law (desirable)
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Location: Hybrid, Head Office Quedgeley, Gloucester.
Hours: 22.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £14,400 to £16,800 per annum pro-rata, based on a full time salary of £24,000 to £28,000 per annum, with yearly increases for staff
