Role Description
An enthusiastic administrator is needed to provide high quality and comprehensive administration support to the fast‑paced Human Resources department. As part of the HR team, you will help deliver a first‑class HR service to NFRS and have opportunities to develop your skills within an HR environment.
Responsibilities
* Help coordinate recruitment and promotion processes.
* Maintain databases, extract reports, and ensure accurate employee records while carrying out everyday HR processes such as starters, leavers and contractual variances.
* Support a friendly and driven workforce with HR queries.
* Provide administrative support to the wider HR team and assist with general office duties.
Experience and Qualifications
* Ideal: Background in HR administration; not essential – applications from those with generalist HR knowledge/qualifications/experience or previous administration experience in a fast‑paced environment are encouraged.
* Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications and ability to input and extract information from a database.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and effectively organise work to meet deadlines.
* Understanding of how to provide excellent customer service.
* Strong awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Previous experience within the public sector is desirable but not a deal breaker.
* Flexible approach to working with the ability to travel within the county of Nottinghamshire (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled candidates).
