Duties
* Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
* Cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
* Ensuring all food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
* Supporting meal preparation for various events or daily service
* Serving food to customers in a professional and courteous manner
* Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience
* Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within a commercial kitchen environment
* Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous
* Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary processes
* Experience in serving customers or working in customer-facing roles within the hospitality industry is beneficial
